I add music and hand motions (mostly American Sign Language, but not truly ASL) to help remember Bible verses. These could be for kids, but for adults too. I started adding signs to worship songs when I was the Children's Music Director for a few years at my church. This really helped the kids to focus, remember, and have fun with their memory verses, praise and worship songs, and special holiday performances. The parents seemed pleased that their kids were engaging and enjoyed practicing at home, which got the parents involved in learning the signs as well. The kids liked the challenge of trying to follow along and learn the signs, which is why I try to go a little slower at first, or maybe do an echo sometimes. I loved watching the older kids helping the younger kids learn the signs. Once the kids learned the words, the tune, and the signs, they liked to see how fast they could do them, which encouraged more practice, which is the whole point of Bible memory verses!
